I joined Fat Secret because this seems to be a great motivational tool for so many people and my motivation was nonexistent for so long. I'd always been a slim guy, but I started putting on weight somewhere around the age of 26. 30 lbs here...40 lbs there...before I knew it, I went from 196 to over 300 lbs. I don't want to be 196 lbs again, but I don't want to be over 300 lbs either. I figured a happy medium would be 225lbs, so that's what I'm shooting for.
My diet isn't really that much of a diet. It's pretty much what I've always eaten, but less of it with some exercise thrown in. I figure the sedentary lifestyle I was leading coupled with outrageous portions led to me gaining weight. I'm considering the Atkins and South Beach diets at the moment, but as of now, my current plan is also showing results, so I'll stick with it until I choose a diet.
