Definitely not the greatest start. Right after posting on here that I was going to start watching my calories again, I found out I was pregnant. 3 days later I lost the pregnancy. This is the second time this has happened. I wonder what is wrong with me. I have to try again one more time before the doctor's will do a work up.
Anyway, trying again.

Weighed myself this morning. I gained back over half of the weight that I lost. This is a set back but I know that I can do this. I have to recommit to this everyday.

Not the best start but not the worst. I have logged my food and obviously need to make changes. I could have saved myself about 500 calories by walking away... but the burgers tasted sooo good.
I need to remember that the first couple of weeks are the worst. That is when I will feel the most longing and the most deprived. Once I get past the first couple of weeks I will not feel that way anymore. I have to make sure that I am more mindful of the food I am putting in my body. I have to remember the 20 minute rule and to fill up on water. I need to remember this is about more than immediate satisfaction and that I will be more happy and excited as my weight goes down. I will start anew tomorrow and make the same dedication today. Only tomorrow I will be a little bit better about it. And the next day I will be a little more better at it. And so on.

So... I fell off this wagon pretty hard... Halloween hit and since then I haven't watched a thing that I was eating. The last few weeks I was looking at my body and noticing I was back to the beginning. I kept saying "I need to get back on track" and every day was making bad food choices. I kept saying how hard it was to get back on track and then something clicked this morning. It was just a "duh" moment. Just start. That's all I have to do. I don't have to be perfect at it, but I do have to start.
So this is me starting again. Counting my calories. Being more conscientious about what I eat. They may not be the perfect choices 100% of the time but I will at least start being accountable again.
