Here in the Middle East where I live, Friday is the weekly holiday and hence everyone around is always so enthusiastic about doing Friday brunch. I usually manage to exercise my willpower and say but this weekend was a friend's birthday to today we headed to the W hotel for a champagne brunch. What can I say.... I consumed a whopping 1898 calories at brunch alone. I had only one small lamb chop as my main but did have a lot of sushi, a few small portions of sweet things and of course had four glasses of bubbly. Oh well....

All said and done, I wore my white linen pants today which previously I could never wear and sit down let alone eat but today was a whole different story! They were actually comfortable and I was not in a mad rush to get back home and take em off just so that I could breathe again!.

Hoping next week will be better and I might even get on to my treadmill again!
