I am currently a 27 year old female who loves food!
I have always been overweight. In High School I maxed out at 200lbs. When I started college I dropped some weight due to walking to class and the beverage diet. When I left the university I weighed 185lbs. I thought this was so over weight. Oh how I would love to go back to those "fat" days.
After college I started dating my boyfriend whose eating habits are burgers, Mac & Cheese, Pizza, sweets, and fries. UGH I started to quickly gain weight.
In 2013 I joined this page to help me with a weight watchers challenge at work. I was able to get down to 218, when I started around 228. But I was not doing it the healthiest way and quickly gained it all back and maxed out at 233.
I have recently gone to the doctor and been told I have high blood pressure. I have been slowly increasing my medication to find what will control the blood pressure.
That medication is the only change I have in the last year. It seems it has helped me to slowly loose weight. Since June I have lost about 10lbs- so a little over 3lbs a month. It is an unexpected side effect that I am happy to be experiencing.
I will keep on this journey and see where is takes me. Slow and steady.
I hope this keeps up- I just really need to see results before I can get truly motivated to do it on my own.
