Father's Day, I didn't follow the diet like I should have. I didn't really have much of a breakfast, however I made breakfast in bed for my hubby which included bacon, eggs, fruit, potatoes, and crumpets with strawberry jam. I had a piece of bacon and nibbled on some eggs and fruit. Very small amounts. Lunch consisted of a salad that I wasn't even hungry for and I really didn't feel like eating. I probably had a 1/4 of a cup if that. Dinner, I finally felt hungry. And it was mixed with cabbage salad, lentil soup, I had a piece of pita bread and some spicy potatoes and some Baklava oops, I couldn't resist. I felt fairly proud that I didn't screw up too badly on the diet since we were out with friends and I kept my portion sizes small and ate off a small plate. Monday, I was back on track with my diet, I struggled in the evening a bit, craving bread products but I kept my cool. I felt so lethargic yesterday and attempted to play tennis for an hour very poorly. Today, I will focus on having a great day of diet and exercise as I have my first weigh in tomorrow.

Today I had a great day of a healthy diet, staying on track with my eating and exercise program, not feeling hungry, having energy, and staying in good spirits all day. Ohhhh I want more days like these. It was fun playing tennis with my family was the highlight. Now we will watch movies and have a peaceful night. I hope the weather will be nice tomorrow so we can play volleyball and have a nice healthy picnic on the beach for Father's day. Yay!

The past two days I have followed the diet well. I have exercised consistently and feel happy that I'm moving into this phase without feeling too deprived. Yesterday, I did feel a little hunger and the thought of eating some bread or crackers passed through my head but it quickly left. I do feel worried about today though as I'm supposed to meet some friends and that always is surrounded by food and alcohol and my willpower has always been weakened by these circumstances. I'm thinking of taking some hummus and veggies and edamame or something. I part of me feels like I shouldn't be doing much social interaction in this phase as there are just too many temptations but I guess that is all part of this challenge that I needed to be tested with.

Today marks my official first day on this diet. I actually started yesterday but I didn't weigh myself in or start this Fat Secret program until today. I hope and pray that this will keep me motivated to pursue my goal. I have a bigger goal too. Lose the 20lbs. in three months for when we leave to Europe I will be in great shape! Just take it when day at a time.
I'm off to eat breakfast which is Weight Control Oatmeal and 1 banana with soy milk. I will then get on my spinning bike for 20 minutes. Yesterday, I did a speed walk for 1 hour 30min. 10 min of jogging. I felt pretty good yesterday. Later I plan to ride my beach cruiser or play tennis with a friend.
