I don't have a scale at home
I think you can certainly succeed without a scale! Have any of you ever GAINED weight after along period of poor choices, WITHOUT checking the scale regularly? (I sure did!) Your weight can change without monitoring it all the time.
I'd say, set different goals. Instead of "trying to lose 20 lbs", tell yourself your goal is "exercise three times a week" or "eat within my RDI 6 or 7 days a week", etc. Make sure your goals are measurable. If you stick with it, you probably WILL see a loss the next time you do get to a scale, whenever that may be.

Exercise vs. Sleep
I have a
very
hectic schedule. Sometimes I don' tget to bed on time (or my sleep is disrupted) and I am exhausted the next day.
The following day if I only have 30-45 minutes free, I sometimes have to choose between a nap or exercise. I know I really need both, but only have time for one. Which do I choose? Does anyone else face this? How do
you
choose?

Am I walking/running wrong?
This happens to me when I try to walk too fast. When I am on my treadmill and this pain comes, I slow the pace by a little bit but then also increase the incline to keep my heart rate up. This keeps my workout going strong, but stops that pain!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
hsmth2 wrote:
I weigh every week at about the same time with the same outfit. I went and bought me an athletic scale which shows me not only my weights but my BMI, water percentage, and so much more. It is awesome. I think if I weighed myself everyday I would go nuts on the days I did not lose anything and want to give up so doing it weekly gives me 7 days to lose something even if it is only a pound.
This
exact
thing has happenend to me before. If I've been good for two days and don't see a loss, I feel dejected. For me, I MUST wait a week, so I KNOW a loss will show if I've been good.
