I have beaten my goal of losing 1.7 lbs per week this week. If I can keep it up I could potentially be at my goal weight by the first night of our cruise to Belize in July :-)

Losing 4.5 pounds in a week is not a miracle it is the result of patient endurance, self-control, moderation, and keeping a positive attitude. Of course NOT stuffing my face, making sure I was eating the proper balance of macro nutrients, AND a little bit of exercise also probably contributed ;-)

I start a new job today and got the perfect little treat this morning when I stepped on the scale that makes the day even sweeter! I'm down 4.5 lbs this week! My new job will involve more walking and heavy carrying so there is the opportunity to burn more calories than my usual day of sitting in front of a computer :-)

I actually restarted Atkins on the 20th of March. I have since recalculated my goal weight to 220lbs as my original goal weight would have put me at 190lbs and 1% body fat. Not even body builders and Olympic athletes get that low of body fat. 220lbs is a more realistic goal.
