I have never really been over weight at any point in my life except for after my first pregnancy and well....I am slightly now. For the first time in my life I realize it is time to start paying attention to what I am putting into my body. I want to be healthy and enjoy a longer life with my kids! :)

Dieting alone
I have 2 young picky eaters in my home, with my boys I found that if they help make the meal they are more likely to eat it as well. Let them pick from a few recipes and then depending on their age give them a task they can do to help make the meal. Use your imagination to make dinners more appealing to young ones ie. arrange the food on the plate to make a smiley face.

Already after recording my meals for one day I am starting to see what I am doing wrong...I did go over my RDI, but not buy as much as I thought I would.
