Why can't I lose weight
Try the Mifflin St Jeor equations for basic metabolism, just google it and you will find a calculator. Then whatever number you get for 24 hours do the following calculation:
Correction = 24*(your weight in Kg) - (what you got)
.
You will have to subtract this number from the calories you expend daily. Fatsecret assumes you spend 1 Kcal/kg/hr but that is a gross overestimation for most people, for me (120 Kg) over 24 hrs the difference is 650 Kcal !!.
With the correction though I am getting very good and accurate results (weight loss is tracking the caloric deficit extremely well).
I see you are running a 500-700 Kcal deficit, with the correction (since you are half my weight) it could really be a 250-300 Kcal deficit,
thus 1750 Kcal/week thus 10500 Kcal --> 3 lbs. Do the math and see for yourself.
Hope this helps....

4 days 4 pounds off?
It's no longer a mystery to me ! Most of it might be water (especially if you're starting your diet now) BUT and this is a big and important BUT if you're fit and 100+ Kg it's definitely possible to burn a pound/day during exercise.
Actually 3 hrs of "intense" exercise MET =10+ is a pound of flesh, so to speak, if you weigh 100 Kg. I have pretty good data and it indicates that I'm burning close to one lb in a 1 1/2 to 2hr boxing class and I'm nowhere near Marine fit, actually I wouldn't say I'm very fit.
The people who wrote the studies had a very out of shape person in mind when they labeled the intensities, it's possible to exercise beyond the intensities that are supposedly "very vigorous". The labeling and METS system (were the calories are based) misleads one to think one cannot "burn" off the fat. Actually if you are very fit and exercise a lot you can burn a lot of fat, even a lb or two a day.
