Didn't really track much of anything yesterday. Started out yesterday with my weigh-in, decent breakfast and intentions of getting ahead on my homework for the week. That all changed when a girlfriend called about noon and said they were meeting up for a few day drinks, and would I come out? Well, of course I will...
So I grabbed a sandwich and then proceeded to spend the next 6 hours drinking. And I rarely drink to begin with...maybe a beer with a burger here and there. It's been a couple years since I've been pickled.
My oldest son picked me up and we stopped at a grill on the way home and I ate like I hadn't seen food in months.
So between two BIG beers, one small beer, at least two mixed drinks and at least two shots, PLUS my grill meal, I better stay on serious track this week. Many laughs and memories made, so I can't say I regret it.... Though I do have cleaning AND homework to do today now, since I slacked off yesterday.
Back to work tomorrow. It's easy to stay on track at work!!!! Happy Sunday all.

Glad for a bit of a drop since I only stuck to the plan five of the seven days. Even though I went over those two days, it still wasn't anything compared to how I used to eat.
We're supposed to be in high fifties today, and mid sixties tomorrow, so I plan to get a few walks in, at the minimum.

Got hoodwinked by an incorrect calorie count, so I'm over by about 300 calories today. I'm not going to beat myself up about it, but this is the 3rd time since Feb 18th that I've been over my RDI. I'm still not incorporating much exercise and I try to eat decent, and stay under calories, but I've been eating a lot of processed foods too. UGH.
But, a few good things: We got our annual bonus today at work, so I did want to celebrate a little. We always have to bust our butts to make bonus. Also, I've had two people ask me if I'm losing weight, which makes me feel fantastic. And I noticed for the first time shortly after that that my jeans were indeed a bit looser than they had been.
Weigh-in day on Saturday. Not really sure how that's going to go, but I'll be happy with anything at this point, just to keep the motivation.

Yay!!! I love to see that blue number. I only had one day where I went over my RDI this last week, but I really feel like this is kind of two weeks worth of weight loss. Last Saturday when I weighed was day one of my cycle, so I was definitely feeling the bloat.
I also dropped my RDI down by 100 calories since, for the most part, I wasn't having trouble staying under my previous. Haven't been doing that great getting exercise in since it went back to being cold and snowy here. Booo!!! I want sunshine and t-shirt weather!

Today was not great. I'm sitting at 140% of my RDI right now, BUT somethings I ate today I wasn't sure of the portion size, or just couldn't find the right match, so I estimated high. And also, curse those damn girl scout cookies. My order was delivered today so of course I immediately ate six cookies in a row. Actually, inhaled might be a more appropriate word. Major gut bomb.
On the upside, I've been under my RDI for the last 5 days prior to this, and I kind of knew today was coming (birthday potluck at work), so I'm not too down about it. I'll consider it a cheat day.
Hopefully my weigh-in on Saturday won't be too bad. Fingers crossed! I have done more good than harm.
