Having an up and down time of it lately. Fell down the stairs and caught my arm in the bannister. As a result I've torn the ligaments in my shoulder and can't do any exercise. Therefore not losing any weight at the mo. Still, looking on the bright side, I've not put any on either. Still sticking to the Weight Watchers diet. 5 more weeks, and the docs say I can start exercising again. Will keep on with the walks in the evenings, hopefully I might lose a pound or two.

I'm over the moon as after dreading my first weight-in, I discovered this morning that I had lost 3lbs after my first week. Actually thought that I wouldn't have lost anything, due to not having exercised a great deal. Just goes to prove that making only a small change can bring good results.
I know I'm going to have to work at the exercise this week, as I've read everywhere that your weight loss the first week is always higher than the weeks following. As long as I lose between 1-2lbs, I'll be happy.
Good Luck to Everyone x

My partner is away and while he's away, I normally indulge in a night of naughtiness. It being just myself at home, it's all too easy to slip into the 'slobby' clothes, grab a huge bar of chocolate and veg infront of a good horror film! Oh how I craved to do that last night.
Instead, I gave the house a good cleaning, switched on 'White Noise 2' (not exactly scary, I know), turned off all the lights and slouched on the sofa. I can't hold my head up and claim the prize of 'Michelle, Patron Saint of Dieters' though! I did slip and give into the chocolate craving. However, it wasn't an entire slab of the stuff, I was restrained, and allowed myself a mere Cadbury's Curly Wurly - which are only 2.5 points with Weight Watchers.
Have to say, I felt really good for it too.
I can fully resist all tempatations when it comes to hot drinks at the office now, which is a good thing as I have a meeting with the MD tomorrow, and she's famous for the take out Latte's and Mocha's. No more for me, I've just bought myself a months supply of lemon juice and Earl Grey tea.
Good luck to you all and I hope you are all still having fun with the diets you have chosen.
Love and hugs to you all.

Oops! Back to the old ways - missed breakfast this morning. Can never face eating before leaving for work, and was so busy in the office, that I clean forgot about it today.
Desperate to try and do some exercise tonight. Had every intention of working out at least 3 times a week, but it's trying to fit everything in when I get home from work. At this rate I really don't think I'm going to have lost any weight by the end of this week.
Still keeping up with drinking of 8 glasses of water, and feel really good for it. Have been suffering headaches alot recently, but haven't had one since taking up the water challenge.

Really enjoying the change in diet so far although I have to admit to finding it hard when it comes to using all my points allowance. I didn't realise that by eating the right foods, you can eat so much more. I haven't been able to get round to exercising yet. Why is it the minute I start something, disaster strikes. The first night (yesterday) my partner and I discovered in all the heavy rains, that our sunroof leaks so had to handle that one. Now tonight our washing machine has stopped working and have had to unblock the pipe. Although, surely all the bending down to the drum and standing up to empty to the cup in the sink must count for something - it certainly felt as if I'd had a workout!
I'm taking part in the drink 8 glasses of water a day campaign which has certainly kept the hunger pangs at bay. Just wish I didn't need the bathroom so much!
Well I just hope that the rest of my diet runs smoothly because I can't wait to be slim so that I can start trying on wedding dresses to find that perfect one!
