Just started week four of being really good. I wasn't really hungry for breakfast, so I just had a cup of coffee with some heavy cream.
For lunch I discovered something quick and tasty. I had bought some boneless, skinless chicken breasts that were on sale and I drizzled them with olive oil, and seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I then put them on a cookie sheet and baked at 350 F until an internal thermometer read 165 degrees. That took about 20-25 minutes.
I then had them ready to use for meals or snacks. So today I looked in the fridge and saw that I had some Marinara sauce and some mozzarella cheese. I grabbed a cooked chicken breast and put about 3 Tbs of sauce over it, then put some of the cheese and microwaved it until hot and bubbly. It literally took 2 minutes for a hot and tasty meal. I will definitely be eating that again and might include a small salad with it.

So day 2 of getting back on track. I emailed Krystal today for a little added support. Feeling good about making positive changes. I'm going to try to keep my food diary this time around to really see what I'm eating. I just entered my breakfast and lunch and I'm already at 16 carbs for the day. It is amazing how quickly it adds up!
I feel good today. Got work done early and I'm heading out to do some gardening.

I did really well last night and I'm proud of myself. Induction sometimes can seem so strict, especially when it comes to having dinner parties. We had a family dinner last night and I was able to eat on plan and still have a great evening. Filled half of my plate up with a big veggie salad and the other with some grilled carne asada with a big dallop of guacamole and pico de gallo. Steered clear of the corn and corn tortillas and wine. Down another 2 pounds this morning and my ketone stick is purple! Woo-hoo! I'm so determined this time around not to let other people derail me with "It's just one bite."

Day one down. Had a great day of clean eating and went for a 45 min walk. Down a couple of pounds already. Trying hard this time to watch my intake of artificial sweeteners. Ready to break that habit this time around.

Ugh, I've been terrible with my diet and eating everything in sight and it is showing. Weighed in today at 180. Started Induction today to get back on track. 130 here I come!
