I'm an 84 year old man who started on this journey on October 7, 2014 weighing 190 pounds. I was keeping track of my diet and exercise but never recorded it, I wish now that I had. I lost quite regularly one or two pounds per week for the first several weeks. I now weigh 168 with a goal of 160 but for about six or seven weeks I have bounced between 168 and 170 and can't seem to move the pointer down. This web site says based on my input I should be able to lose a pound a week on 1900 calories. I average between 800 and 1200 and am stuck at 168 so all I know to do is keep on keeping on! I walk 2.5 miles a day so maybe I need to do more strenuous exercise.
