Entering into a tricky zone now... have only been doing a bit of yoga & walking as my exercise, but as the flab reduces, the lack of tone is really starting to show! So now I need to add weights - & so i need to eat more calories... plus muscle weighs more than fat... ho hum - i suppose success is more about how I look & feel, than what the scales say. I may not hit either of my target parameters of 50-52 kilos!

A friend who is a health practitioner (& used to be a fitness coach) said it's really good to vary one's calories. In Paleo times (not that i am doing Paleo!) we would have gone out hunter/gathering & sometimes found very little, sometimes a reasonable amount & occasionally a feast-worthy amount! So, my calories this last week or so (instead of creeping up from 500-1250 as i first planned) have varied between 500 on one day, 1200 another day, several days around 700-750 & two days of not counting at all! Walking about 30 mins up/down hills & a little yoga. All working very well :-)

been doing about 750 cals per day, except one day where i just ate really healthy , but did not weigh or count anything and had non-dairy ice-cream & bigger meals. and one day when i had about 1250 cals. Only 3 kilos to go :-) so i want to get it off quickly...

had to move house (unexpectedly), so the diet went out of the window! Suprised to find I have only put on just under a kilo. Moved into a new place now, so today is the first day i am back on the diet. Kickstarting with a 500cal day to day, then will increase by 250cals p day til i reach my 'normal' 1250.
