Anosmia & Eating Slowly
Anosmia is a condition where all sense of smell is lost. Sense of taste is diminished. Things like salts, sugars, and sours are perceptible by the tongue, coffee, grape, and vanilla are not.

So i have anosmia. I became overweight, without pointing blame, by my father teaching me to clean my over sized plate and now i don't know portion control. I am doing okay at staying within my RDI with this site, but the way i eat is still problematic. I eat entirely to fast. The books that tell me to savor each bite seem meaningless to me.
Can i get some pointers on how to slow down my eating and chewing more thoroughly?
