I am a 57 year old mom of two. I have been battling the weight issue since my first child was born 23 years ago when I gained 60 pounds. 10 months after he was born I was pregnant again and never lost the weight. I can't keep blaming it on baby weight, since my kids are now 23 and 22! My biggest problem is that I do so much for everyone else, and I never take time to do anything for myself (read a magazine, take a walk, etc) I work part-time and I also volunteer at my church and local historical society. I am sole caregiver for a disabled brother who is 48 yrs old. I am exhausted at the end of the day and never have energy to exercise. I would like to lose this weight in increments (my true goal weight is much less) but if I see a goal of 60 lbs to lose, it will defeat me mentally before I get started. So...baby steps to start. I do pretty well with the food/eating. My BIG problem is trying to MOVE more, especially when I am so tired. Morning exercise is not possible due to my schedule. I need some motivation to get moving! My husband is slightly more supportive now that I explained how important it is to me to lose weight. I have never done one of these community type sites, but it might just be the thing I need to get me started!

How do you add a buddy?
One way is to have your daughter send you a buddy request. You will get an email with a link that you can "accept" the request. Or, if you can find your daughter's profile, under her picture you will see "send buddy request". Just click on that and it will send a request to her. She will receive an email request and then she can add you.
