November 2nd was my 48th birthday. I over-indulged on lunch (free meal at Subway--should have stuck with the chicken), and enjoyed a steak dinner with dad at Outbreak Steakhouse.
Although I still went overboard, I was glad I turned down the "skinny" fruity drink option. When I asked the waiter if they had any low-cal fruity drinks, he seemed almost excited to share with me the fact that, yes they did indeed have a low-cal fruity drink "under 500 calories." Needless to say, I went with the 95-calorie Michelob Ultra Light Beer instead. His response of "under 500 calories" for the "skinny" fruity drink made me shudder at the thought of the number of calories in a regular (non-skinny) fruity drink!

I was shocked to see that Subway's flatbread has 2 grams MORE fat and about 20 more calories than their 9-grain whole bread option! Boo! (or maybe "yay" because I like their whole wheat). The flatness of the flat bread really makes you think that it would have less "bad stuff" and therefore be better for you--not!!!
I will improve my sleep habits to assist with my weight management. I will work out again at Planet Fitness Friday morning!!!!

I finally WENT to Planet Fitness this Monday and Wednesday and did some good cardio on the treadmill! I averaged 3.5 MPH for each 30-minute workout, but I got up to 4.5 for a few minutes on Wednesday. It felt good to break a sweat! Woohoo!
I want a free ride to Phase II of the Henry Ford Weight Management Program! I WILL WIN IT by being the biggest loser (hence becoming the biggest winner)!
