I'm back! it's been about two years since my last weigh in. I hit my goal weight and never felt more amazing about myself but then stress and life started to get overwhelming and diet and exercise went on the bottom of my list. I gained all my weight back and then some hitting ny peak weight of 173 within 8 months and I hit the lowest point in my life. insecure and depressed. I struggled for about another year until I decided to do something about it. February 18 I went on my moderate carb diet and I lost 17 pounds I n the course of 2 months my lowest weight at 153 I've been focusing on other areas in life but now here I am again looking forward to starting my journey once again. my goal is to weight 140 and work on toning as I diet so lots of exercise this rime around. it should be interesting how my body changes with weights and fitness as opposed to with just diet the last time. well let the journey beggin! eat clean.. work out mean and get lean!! I start my moderate carb diet again today and workout starts tomorrow my mini goal is to get bikini ready for my vacation July 11

So a week ago today I weighed in at 144, I looked in the mirror and realized that although I had set my goal for 140 I was very happy with the way I looked and decided to keep my weight at 144 and dieting. The truth is I love my curves and I know that had I dieted for a few more weeks I probably would have felt ”too skinny” for my liking lol! So I am pleased to announce that I am officially at my goal weight. My body fat percentage now is 25% and I am in the “Normal” weight range (no longer “Obese”) for my height and weight and it feels AMAZING! I am so happy and I know that I put a lot of hard work and dedication in this and it didn’t come easy but the way I feel now is priceless. I have been eating very healthy for the last week keeping it at around 1200 calories and not overdoing it. I will continue to monitor my weight and workout 3 times a week to continue to tone but I can enjoy delicious food again in moderation without the guilt. I know eventually in the future I will gain weight again and have more kids but this time I will not let it get out of control.

Getting of the Curves diet was a bit challenging, not sure if it had anything to do with it but the first day I ate normal I got really sick and threw up a few times (sorry tmi), it felt like I had a “carb hangover” I also had stomach pains, bloating and nausea for the 3 days following that so I tried to eat my carbs in moderation and not overdo it too much but at the same time have enough so my body got used to them again. One benefit was that I started sleeping through the night since I no longer had the excruciating hunger pangs keeping me awake at night as far as weight gain.. believe it or not I have lost .5 a pound since last week but that’s maybe because I’m still keeping my calories lower and not enough a lot of fat anymore like I was. I feel and look incredible! No words can’t describe the joy I feel. If any of you have any questions or need advice I am here to help, I know how difficult loosing weight is, I have struggled with it for the last 2.5 years and now, 60 pounds lighter with no help from professionals, diet pills or gimmicks I am where I dreamed I would be! If I can do it you can do it and WILL!
