Went to the doctor a week ago and he gave me a horrible diagnosis. I either have to lose weight or get surgery. I'm so scared. I've been on medication this past week and go back to the surgeon later today to get checked up. This weigh in is what the doctors scale said last week. I've been really watching what I eat this past week so I hope to have lost a pound or two. I'll update when I get back from my appointment this afternoon.

I haven't been keeping track of things as well as I should. I've been concentrating on getting by on a daily basis and haven't been putting forth the extra energy to really focus on my health. Good news is I haven't given up, I refuse to, but I really need to watch it cause I'm creeping back up to my old weight and I refuse to get back there again.

Different scale, so I expected a discrepency, but man, what a shot to my motivation! I had been slacking off, so I plan on getting on the ball and making this happen.

Walked again today! Feeling great! Instead of my goal of 30 mins, I actually did 45! My Husband fiddled around with the ipod I found and added a much of music I actually liked. Its amazing how fast time goes by when I'm jammin out to some good tunes. This was the perfect start to my day so now I just need to keep it up for a few more hours. I WILL eat a good breakfast, I WILL drink plenty of water. I feel proud and energized and I hope all of you out there are having just as good of a day! I'm praying for all of FS!

I haven't been able to weigh myself lately, I'm poor and don't own a scale! I had a major milestone today, I walked 30 minutes strictly for exercise. I found an ipod a few months ago and have been trying to find the owner with no luck. Today felt like a good day to just accept the fact that I may end up owning it. The music on it isn't really my taste, but I clipped it on my pants and listened to some of the music on it while I walked. It was perfect! I didn't know any of the songs except for one, but it was perfect walking music. The second song on the playlist was "The overweight lovers in the house" and I couldn't help but laugh as I strutted my stuff around the neighborhood. This was a super positive experience so the next time, (yes, there will be a next time!), will be looked forward to!
I just cant believe I went for a walk! I rock!
