Did ok today according to HealthTracker. I'm below my daily calorie intake, but too high on fats, cholesterol, and sodium. I think what really put me over was that I had an early morning snack which I usually don't do, and I had soup for lunch. I know soup doesn't sound bad, but I had 3 servings instead of just one. It was the classic campbells chicken noodle soup... I never realized how much fat and sodium is in that soup! Its a good, filling soup, but 3 servings was too much. I may have that soup for lunch tomorrow, but I will limit myself to only one serving. I may also replace 1/2 of my half and half in my coffee with soymilk. I will prolly change out my dressing for my dinner salad with something a little more low cal/low fat. I did get some light activity in today but I may do some more walking and pool playing. I am amazed by Healthtracker! I bought a .99 pack of pistachios and tallied each nut on it. Did you know there are 3-4 calories PER nut?! That's nuts!! lol By tallying each pistachio as I popped them in my mouth and watching the calories add up was enough to get me to only eat half of the package... I can't remember the last time I only ate HALF of anything! I feel so positive and accomplished! With the help of this fantastic program and the support of the FS community I know I'll beat this disease!

It's been a while since I recorded a journal entry, so I figured it was about time. I fell off the bandwagon for the hundredth time, but im back on. I found a really cool program for my pocket pc cell phone called health tracker. It lets me imput my weight, age, height, food, and exercise. It also lets me program how much weight I want to lose and in how much time. It then calculates how many calories to eat every day in order to reach my goal in the time allowed. I love having this program on my phone since I found it difficult to record everything on fatsecret. I have been watching what I eat very carefully for one day, and hope I have the discipline to keep it up. I don't know what my work schedule is tomorrow but I plan to either use a free trial to go to a gym or take a long walk with my puppy. Either way im determined to get some calorie burning activity in. I hope everyone is having great success with their programs, (at least better success than me!), and have a great day guys!

Worked out today for the first time in a while. Felt horrible because I ripped my pants while doing so. Even after working out, it makes me feel like a fat lazy slob. Oh well.
Regardless of being short a pair of pants, I can't stop now that I've started again. Time to grab a pair of stretchier pants and keep motivating myself to get moving. Going to rest a while then take my puppy out for a walk-run.
