Just like a when a little grub is wrapped up in its crysalis its growing, changing, being prepared for development into a butterfly- I am a mum who is being constantly worked on, corrected, shaped and transformed as I walk with Jesus.
I am definately a "work in Progress" and am very thankful that God has not finished with me yet!
I struggle with probably the same issues and frustrations as you do.
Im glad that I am on this journey to a healthier me, Im excited about the people Im going to meet and ready to discover what Im going to learn about life, food & myself on the way.

I love a good coffee and a good chat, You are always welcome to stop by my blog; http://crysalismum.blogspot.com

I realised I am giving alot of time to this weight loss journey, Im reading labels and logging food and Im loving meeting new people inside my computer (hi in there *wave!!* ) Most of all I want to invite God into this journey, I want to learn what He thinks about me. I want to walk this journey with others and see what they are learning and Im sure we will discover great things together that will go deeper into our beings than our breakfast!!
I'd love you to join us- look us up in groups here and at:

Made to crave web event in under 2hrs
So in less than 2 hours -(noon Australian time) 8pm EST the first made to crave webconference starts.
I am so looking forward to this as some things covered today's includes :
"1.  The scale can measure your physical weight but never your worth as a woman.  Do you know that?  I mean do you know it the second you step on that scale and start calling yourself names you’d never let other people call you?

Here’s a little activity I want you to do this week.  Go get some sticky notes. Write these words on them:  beautiful, courageous, able, called, victorious.

Now, put these notes over the numbers on your scale and for the next five days, receive only the truth when you step on that scale.

2.  You are more than a sum total of your tastebuds.  Remind yourself when you think you want that unhealthy food option that only your tastebuds want that… your heart doesn’t want that candy bar.  Your arms don’t want those french fries.  Your brain doesn’t want those chips.  Your hiney doesn’t want that cheesecake.

Only your tastebuds want that… so let your arms, brain, heart and hiney boss your tastebuds around.  Let majority rule! "

I really encourage you to "go".

So frustrated... Needing to vent..
Hi, I am so sorry you have got diisappointing blood work after all your hard work. My hubby has been on lipitor for ever as he has a terrible family history (his mumma had her first heartattack at 39 and her cholesterol was 30 (3000 in US terms)- 6 times the acceptable limit, both my kiddos are skinny as but at risk of high cholesterol (my DD now 13 had high cholesterol at 2yr old and was also below the 20th percentile in weight) so all that said most of the cholesterol you have is made by your body not injested so when yor cholesterol is high your diet is modified to reduce borderline levels that you might add by the food you eat (usually only a 5% drop would be expected )if your levels are very high it is usually your body that makes it if his makes sense.
We have found that FISH OIL has VERY effectively reduced our cholseterol levels. There is a fish oil mg's measure on the bottle but the real value is the EPA. Woman need an EPA value of around 1200 to help with joint pain/ inflammation and levels of 900mg for cardiac health & brain health& cholesterol control.
This higher stregnth is well supported in journals and I buy the fish oil from the natrapath because they have the suitable strengths whereas the supermarket ones you end up taking 8 horse sized pills a day!!
I have alot of joint pain so it dual purpose for me and has reduced my cholesterol from 6.9 (our upper normal limit is 5.5 in australia) to 5.1- now not needing any lipitor to maintain just the fish oil.
Its worth a thought.
Hugs

Coffee flavoring idea? Anyone?
Have you tried stevia leaf? It is low carb & lo cal and completely natural. It is really sweet and you can get it in Woolworths as a granule in the sugar section.
