I'm a 32, about to be 33, year old geek living in Edmonton, AB.
About 2 years ago I had fought my weight down to about 190. Then I buggered it all up by moving back to Canada from Hong Kong. I haven't put it ALL back on, but a goodly amount of it.
My job is half sedentary, half exertion.
I used to drink a lot of pop/juice, and eat copious amounts of candy and chips. Not to mention fast food.
Since my hobbies (gaming being number 1) are also fairly sedentary (You don't jump up and down unless you're winning) I've decided January 1 2009 was the start line. It's go time!
My goals are fairly reasonable, and I've made one life changing decision as far as eating goes: No Pop. No Chocolate. No Chips. No Fast Food.
Water and Tea are my beverages now, and the occasional beer or glass of wine. I've decided to give up the above for at least 6 months. The goal is to give them up for a whole year. Pop I plan on giving up entirely. No more pop.
Anyhow! That's me, and some extra stuff.:)
