Had a bit of a rough weekend. My 20th grad reunion was Saturday and Sunday. I didn't make it to Saturday's event, but went out to the BBQ on Sunday. I wasn't very smart; I had a couple of sugary drinks. Would have been better off having more to drink of less sugary stuff. Anyway, I was not feeling very well yesterday even though I hadn't had that much to drink. Getting older suck sometimes.
Totally on track today. Joined the Faithfood challenge because I really need to incorporate health and my commitment to God. I think to really go at health fully, I need to approach it as mind, body and spirit, for as much as we like to separate them in our culture, they are not separate at all.

I didn't do nearly as well yesterday as I had the day before. When they say that the Fat Fast is no fun and that you think about food all the time, they are not wrong. I am a turtle with the losing, however, so two pounds the first day and nothing since yesterday is not only not a shock to me, it's pretty darned good. I am doing this thing because I have been SO stuck and 181 is a number I haven't seen in a while, as much as it pains me to admit it. So, for now, I will take it. Planning to fat fast again today and that's it. The purpose for me was to get me into really solid ketosis and move some new weight. I've done that. Besides, I work at the golf course tomorrow and it is way to challenging and draining for a shift like that!

I'm trying something I have never done before - The Fat Fast. Yeah, I know, I know, but I seem to have a really hard time getting into ketosis anymore and I've been stuck at the same weight for MONTHS! Since I have three days off (Tue, Wed, Thurs) I thought it would be the ideal time to do this thing. Day two - can't say I feel great, but I AM down two pounds. Of course, all I did was pee all day yesterday. ROFL
Today is another day full of working on promoting my music studio and ferrying kids to dentist, library and pet food store. I love my life. :)

Wow. This is kind of a fun site! I'm having fun posting stuff on here and watching it show up on my iTouch. :D I found this place because an old friend asked about new places to enter food besides Fitday and Sparkpeople and this was one of the suggestions. I liked the idea that it has an app for iTouch. :D
Today, I am going to tighten my belt a little bit. I seem to be at a really solid setpoint; I neither gain when I cheat a little, nor do I lose when I eat totally clean. Clearly, I need to shake things up. Exercise is always important, of course, but having sustained some fairly recent injuries, I am nervous about my favourite forms, which are weight lifting and kick boxing. *sigh. I really need to just have a bike in the garage where I can just put Cardio Coach on and sit.
