O O O P S! 2 days over the carb limit! This is what quinoa will do to you! Next time I will make my kale salad without the quinoa and add more pecans. Honestly, I don't think the quinoa adds any taste to the recipe...just adds carbs. Most of the flavor comes from the pecans.

I've been trying to do IF (4-6 hour eating window). But, on this last weekend all I did was EAT EAT EAT! I wish I could stick to my gun. Better luck this week! Looking forward to salmon, tuna or mahi with salads this week...I'm kinda tired of chicken legs and hamburger. I'll make up some fresh hollandaise for the fish for healthy fats and make my own salad dressing. (No more sugary Thousand Island!) Also, I need to lay off the ATKINS Caramel Shakes! They are SO GOOD, but not necessary. I will save the rest for the holidays so I don't pork out on fudge.

Good News & Bad News
I had purchased 2 black jumpsuits back in 2020 and never got to wear them due to events being cancelled during COVID. They were also pretty tight on me. I was thinking that I would finally get to wear them this year at Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Yesterday I tried them both on and they still don't fit. Different problem...they are now HUGE and BAGGY!

The last time I was at this weight was in 2016. I'm pluggin away and it's taking FOREVER! It's funny because my doctors have no problem telling me that I am morbidly obese, but when I lose 47 pounds they don't even notice or ask how or what I am doing to lose weight or reduce high blood pressure risk or anything. So far I feel blessed that I am not on any kind of meds and I want to keep it that way. I have been super serious about taking care of my liver by not eating any fructose...alot of experts say that it turns to fat in the liver. Has anyone out there in FS Land tried supplementing with Milk Thistle? Please let me know your experience because I am considering adding it to my tea to support my liver.
