I'm really here due to sodium intake, dehydration and 5 semesters of school while in my late 50s. I've already lost weight since using your site to calculate sodium. Now, I'm observing carbs and proteins, too.
Trying to figure out how to eat the fruits I'm told to eat without overloading on carbs. 2 fruits per every 5 serving of veggies is what I'm told to eat. One apple is 22 carbs!

food entry help
I know I have to enter ingredients sometimes because it won't let me add the meal itself and it has a meal app to the right. I'm like you, still figuring it out.

Testing This Site
I've used the journal but not the forum. Exploring this site. I've read quite a lot from many of you and have noticed that many of you are on the Keto diet.

I'm here for health reasons and weight loss is a bonus. High blood pressure brought me here; I've been aggressive in attaining desired results. Doctor told me I was healthy as an ox and then went on to doctoring, the whole quest for monsters--hello poking and testing to be administered later.

Thing is, I feel so much better now. I've totally restructured what is important to me, learned my number one stress is poverty related and I'm wiser now. Twenty-three days...

I drink 10 to 15 ounces of water upon waking. I drink 80 ounces-plus throughout the day. My last meal is taken three hours before bed and my first meal the following day is 12 hours or more later.

I'm up to brisk walks of 5000 steps, except on the two days of Pilates (physio ball, weights and bar workout in P.E.

I'll be 60 in a few months and feel better today than I have in the past decade, happier too. I'm eating clean, too. No tummy bloat, the cortisol effects around my abdomen are almost flattened out. No ringing in my ear, the pinching and tightness in my neck and throat have almost stopped entirely and I don't dehydrate anymore.

I've been mindful, focused and the journey is wonderful.

Now, let me post this and see where it ends up in this site.
