Ceebee's Journal, 17 April 2010

Well I was hoping for a bigger loss.. but I will take what I can get. :P
Ok here is anther thing that has gotten me down today "You lost 1.5 lb (0.7 %) since you last weighed in on Saturday 10 Apr 10.
At that rate it will take you about 11 months to get to your goal weight." OMG 11 months.. that seems like forever... and in reality I know I will not get there that fast... in reality it is gonna take even longer.. crab crab crab. Man I think the real problem is that I have a personal goal of getting under 200 by my daughters birthday for some reason that number and that date have taken on a meaning of their own.. 8 weeks away.. and that goal is making me kind of crazy. I don't think I will ever do that again. I need to loose 2 lbs a week. for the next 8 weeks.. that does not leave alot of wiggle room. I was really hoping for 2 or 3 lbs down this week. But I was sick all week long so that kinda killed me.. and I had the accident where all that food fell into my mouth on Wednesday. Oh yeah and I went out to eat last Sunday at Texas roadhouse.. So the weight loss really is very reasonable, in fact after mentally reviewing my week.. I actually feel better about it. This week my husband is out of town so there will be more free time.. maybe I can work in my zumba dvd, lets say 3 times this week. I have not really started to exercise at all.. I know I need to.. but I really hate it.. alot.. :) so all in all I guess a good weigh in.. once I stopped and thought about it.
216.0 lb Lost so far: 52.0 lb.    Still to go: 69.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yea, you have to live your life on this journey. People put so much stress on themselves to lose weigh by a certain date, that it takes a way some of the joy from losing and getting healthy. You are doing great!

You're doing great. Actually it will take a lot longer than 11 months- it will take your whole life :) Because even when you reach your goal weight, you will still have to remain committed to healthy eating unless you want to gain it back. So sit back, buckle yourself in, and get ready for the long haul! Once I accepted that this was just going to take as long as it takes, everything became much less stressful and I actually lost weight faster :)
