ok, so I creeped up .5# AGAIN. But thats ok because I know I'm going to stick it out and keep on track. I have to make a little comment about the other day (Thursday). Went out to lunch and dinner and I am very proud that I stuck to the plan while I was out! That is a super accomplishment for me. PLUS I went to a friends house to watch tv that night and resisted temptation all around me! I did not touch the candies on the coffee table did not ask to open and try the chocolate candies in the baggies in sight, graciously turned down the offer of sesame sticks (love those and I knew I could not eat 'just one'). I probably shouldn't have had the diet sodas I did when out, I think I need to lay off the diet stuff with artifical sweeteners. I've read and heard where that can cause stalls plus if I start drinking some of those it seems to set a trigger and makes me want more! So I'm going to make an effort not to drink one. The 'excuse that it was included with the meal deal where we were eating, well next time I'll turn down the 'deal', it may be a savings on my wallet but not my body!
Also I think red meat may be causing a stall with me. For one, I also overeat it, my body just seems to want more and more! I'm sure I won't be able to stop it completely, but like a fellow member here suggests maybe cut back to once a week or once a month. I did have the rest of the burger for breakfast today but no more red meat in the house right now. So I'll make that a monthly treat instead of more often. And of course I need to drink more water! But again an excuse, have to run to the bathroom to much when I drink alot, lol.
This weekend will be another challenge for me, my son & his girlfriend are in town. They actually eat healthy, but mostly vegies and carbs (rice, noddles etc), and out; chinese, sushi, rice. Well my plan is to eat mostly chicken and vegies if we go chinese (they have a 'diet plate' that is no rice) and lay off the extra vegies and starch at home! No to cream cheese & bagels, yes to cream cheese and celery!
OH, the weekly (4/4-/10)weight average is; 170.43 (previous weeks average; 4/3 171.43, 3/27 173.14) OKAY I may be creeping but the weekly average shows it is going in the right direction!
170.0 lb Lost so far: 28.0 lb.    Still to go: 32.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes I have noticed today that I ate early (bbq) and had burgers and sausages and 5 hours later I am not remotely hungry. But it is best to keep it to a minimun as it isn't good for the system I don't think. Too much of a carcigen.
