perks54's Journal, 17 September 2017

Hello FS Folks:

Well, I have been steady for awhile and then gained a pound. But, I switched up my exercise routine and stayed close to my targets of calories and carbs although I went over for a couple of days. Didn't seem to hurt me though -maybe even helped.

But, I am trying to stay the course. Stick to my targets, try new recipes every week and read how others do it.

Good Luck everyone.

Sorry to put this here, am on mobile so can't PM. On ches' post, you said you'd experimented with numbers and landed at 3-5 carbs. What does that mean? You're right, I love the numbers, they make things make sense to me.

T8U9: It is a Typo, I meant to say I ended up with focusing on 35 carbs - no hyphen. When I was at 100 carbs a day I still felt bad. When I started I must have been doing 300-400 carbs a day- ridiculous. Now, on most days I am close to 35, sometimes 45 or even 60 and a few days I am at under 30. I plan to review my logs and make lists of common foods and carb amounts so I can build meals and know I will hit 30. OR maybe that's too retentive and I will stick to "around 35" I have to take a step back and realize WHOA I am doing great compared to six months ago.

Thank you! I still need to read your logs, will probably get some inspiration and concrete methods for realistic execution. All in all, YES so much better and better.
