Oh Yeah!!!
I am going DOWN, in weight that is.
I decided to weigh in two times a week and today was the second one.
I am losing.
Even tho I am not recording my food intake, I am losing.
I am so happy, and since I am losing, I am doing something right.
I know that if I would record my food intake, I would be better able to see where I am over doing it, but as long as I going down, I am not over eating so... I am a very happy camper!!!
192.2 lb Lost so far: 5.8 lb.    Still to go: 14.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.3 lb a week

It's not a cult, you don't have to follow the strict version of anything. ;-) Logging isn't for everyone nor for all times. What you're doing is working!

And your journey continues, I do what and when I can, as I don't want to be tied down to something.

T8U9, you are so right. It isn't a cult, so I really don't feel too bad about not recording, as long as I keep doing what I need to do, to keep going down. DO N OK, yep, that is what I am doing. It all works, so that is a good thing too.

You should document everything you eat. It will HELP you.

Grats on the loss! I try to remember to log, but eh.. if I forget it's not the end of the world. The main advantage I see to logging is that you make sure you are eating enough of your macros. :) Keep up the great work! :)

I guess if it were a cult, we wouldn't tell you. But we'd probably also promise cookies. Then lecture you for being surprised we lied. ;-)

I hope you don't feel bad at ALL about not recording. In a lot of ways, doing well without recording is a more advanced level. I hope to get there at some point. --- At my remedial beginner level, I'm loving logging (well this logging, no peavey or skidder chains required) because it's a relief to have the clarity. In the short time I've been doing this, many of my misconceptions about certain foods have been set straight. --- I'm easily influenced by the eating patterns of those around me, and prior to FS was going nutty places in response to my partner's approach. Not their fault or active influence at all, and they were getting worried. Now I can say, you're free to look at my FS logs, I'm open to any suggestions. They haven't looked; mostly they feel reassured that I can look back to see what I've eaten, instead of trying and failing to recall. Wish FS had an option to record time the items were eaten. ---ANYway, I don't plan to log forEVER, and many people shouldn't at all, even at beginner stage, depending on their history and potential complex trauma from having had food controlled or weight mocked. I guess I've suggested logging sometimes, but there's a huge risk of it feeling restrictive or just plain expending too much energy that's better used for food preparation. Think I'll stop suggesting this.
