Donna Mashburn's Journal, 03 August 2017

Just finishing off a 24 hour fast and I feel pretty darn good, considering. I made it through the night shift with just two cups of coffee and that abated any hunger I was having. It still amazes me to think of going that long without something to eat as that is something I've never had to do before. (I did do this once about a year ago, but it is a novelty to me). I have always been blessed with having plenty of food around and never known what it is to be hungry without something being available! I am so pleased with my weight loss progress right now. I feel like I've got a handle on it like I haven't had in the past. My attitude seems different this time--more accepting, more content, different outlook. I hope this sticks with me like never before. Looking back and analyzing my history of weight loss and gain has given me some new incites on my thoughts and efforts of the past. Looking back can help you see more clearly where you need to be going! Today I'm feeling satisfied, confident, and happy!

So good to hear! Really like what you said about feeling more content, more accepting than other times, and now satisfied, confident, and happy. Yah!!! I too believe that when we stop fighting change, and surrender to new habits, our character changes for the better.
