We're in virgin territory here now, eh? Good old cheech and chong circa 1970's.

I am in a spot now where I don't remember being this light. It was certainly pre-2008 is what I know. Sadly I don't recall my weights except at a few milestones in my life. Most of which I put on my bio, so I wont go into all that here. I can say that my man boobs no longer will pass (or fail) the pencil test! Also, I don't feel them sitting on my fat belly. Its very disturbing for a man to feel that, at least it was for me. Particularly when its 120F outside! I can feel my body changing in a few ways, and it is nice.

I was thinking last night, that I am kind of bored with all this, but then in the mornings when I weight in and journal, I do like it. So, I guess I will get to feeling comfortable in my routine here. Eating healthy and logging foods (and journaling) is almost a habit or second nature now. Its not that it is tough, but maybe monotonous. My injured foot is partially to blame here, as I cannot exercise or cook recipes I want to cook.

My injury also has me missing the states for another reason; wheelchairs and mart-carts where I could go shopping at Publix or Wal-Mart! Crutches really hamper your shopping abilities! I can see now why stores have these carts for the ladies (and gentlemen). Fortunately i am able to do PWB (Partial Weight Bearing) on my foot now and that makes the chore of crutches much easier, and much safer. So I suppose my healing journey is working itself out too. I just need patience, isn't that always the case.

Today I am grateful for ice cold milk, and my cereal (living in the moment here). I am also grateful for my coworkers who have been great, picking me up for work and helping me about. I am also grateful for my wife, and kids. I have been quite a burden lately (lately?). Anyway, I have lots to be grateful for.



241.6 lb Lost so far: 27.4 lb.    Still to go: 56.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I feel you on the "getting bored" thing, JP. Sometimes we feel like we're stuck in a rut doing this, but the (good) weigh-ins make it all worth it. Nice discovery about the man boobs. That made me laugh. It IS, however, these things that make us keep going. We need to see these little successes, and they will make us push for the next level.

Thanks for the support Kingkeld as always! Yes, I am enjoying my successes, and look forward to more. In a way, I know this foot thing will heal up and kick-start another portion of the journey when its better!
