I usually gain weight after a race or event where I am going all out and or its new muscle use and get sore. I tend to be super hungry those days and drink a ton of fluids and retain water for a day or two.

191.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 26.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
