Not sure what happened! I mean, my diet yesterday was not great, but I was under calories, my carbs were low, etc. I didn't eat good choices because I took a medication that made me very sleepy and nauseated. And, I definitely don't understand the non-weightloss after working out! I mean, isn't it supposed to promote weightloss. I'm going in this morning @ 10am for Zumba Curves so wish me luck! I know I'm gonna feel like vomiting.
223.2 lb Lost so far: 4.8 lb.    Still to go: 73.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Oh goodness, Shea. That doesnt sound like a good way to start Zumba. Good luck then, and feel better. Don't worry about the weight loss. You'll see the results from exercise soon enough.

Thanks sweet Heather! I am feeling fine this morning. Hungry, but fine. I accidently took one of my triglyceride pills that you're supposed to take at night. Forgot it made you so sleepy- and I think that brought out a lot of the negative side effects of another medication (I'm still adjusting to it- and it makes me nauseated, I yawn constantly (uncontrollable) and you just don't want to eat at all so) Needless to say, I'm not taking that med this morning before working out because I'm sure the workout alone will bring me to the verge of feeling ill. LOL. Time to get my water in and some protein. Not sure what I'm eating this morning....

Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight gain. Exercise can initially cause your muscles to retain water which can show on the scale as a temporary gain. It goes away. It could be water weight from too much sodium, medicine, hormones, sickness, etc. The most important thing is to stay on plan and be consistent. We don't always see the results of this week till next week or later.

Thanks Suzi- I will do that! I completed my Zumba Curves workout and did feel rather sick. I'm just not used to all of that- with the fact that the machines are enough to make me sick. I burned 390 calories today so I'm happy with that. it's so neat- they bring in healthy dishes on Saturdays and just snack after the workout and talk. I really need this as having no friends/social life kinda keeps me shut up in my own little world. I am so excited that I saw this commercial. If I felt stronger, the instructor was doing a Zumba marathon today for 2.5 hours. Wish I felt positive enough to do it, but just not there yet and I don't want to crash and burn right away.
