robertamae's Journal, 29 December 2011

Well considering the Holidays and what not, I would say not bad, but still the holidays is 1 day not a whole week. Even if you were counting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it is only two days instead of 7 or 8. I really need to get in the skinny frame of mind. Skinny people celebrate 1 day. Skinny people eat one piece of pizza instead of three. Skinny people don't deprive themselves but they don't eat until they feel sick. I know how skinny people think, I just can't seem to control myself. I seem to do well for a few days then go way overboard as a "reward." That is why the weight keeps yo-yoing.
167.0 lb Lost so far: 11.2 lb.    Still to go: 32.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

So now that you've figured it out the next step is figuring out your triggers. How can you handle it for a few days then go way overboard? I would suggest that food never be a reward. There are so many other ways to treat yourself. You need to find your reason for losing weight and figure out how to stick that up front every time you want to splurge, or skip working out, or not drink your water, etc. Its possible and you're in the right place to get the encouragement you need!
