It is always satisfying to see anyone meet their goals, but without sounding crass, the accomplishments do not motivate me in any sense, because each person requires different needs and exercise, so I have opted not to read the "hurray for you" messages. I continually research for solutions that will provide me with a program that meets my goals but can also be adapted to a permanent lifestyle. (i. e., no silly restrictive diets like Atkins, nor programs that require eating only meals delivered to your home, for if any of these diets were effective for long term, it only proves that I do not have the tenacity or willpower to stay with the choice.) Not a gloom or doom message, just truthful and maybe a bit frustrated. I am happy with the eight pound weight loss, but by the same time, I know I would have great difficulty continuing the efforts that got me here. They were painful and exhausting to say the least. I know that supposedly as I lose the weight they will get easier, but I have been down this road before and witnessed my lapses and lack of motivation when pushed this hard. Anyway, keep smiling and be thankful for your successes.
