Unfortunately, my weight loss is not due to my diet or exercise, but an illness. I will continue to follow a healthy lifestyle in spite of this unwelcomed condition and hopefully overcome it, but so no one will feel sorry for me, I live a new mantra: "I am fighting to stay alive, not because I fear death, but because I Love Life."

Still working on the weekend binges. It has become a stumbling block, as I relate it to five days of denial, and two days of celebration. Wrong I know, but as I have said in previous comments. It's all between the ears.[/b]

I have tried everything I have researched, to maintain a positive attitude, and follow a healthy life style, but the motivation and commitment are still lacking. I have not applied the two methods I feel will change my commitment, meditation and self-hypnosis, as I have not achieved the means, or methods, for applying these processes.
As I have stated before, the answer lies between my two ears.... it is all self-application that will lead to my success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No success to date, and again it is a matter of commitment and motivation for me, but neither factor has been initiated. Maybe it never will take place but, nothing else has helped so far.

I continue to have the binge days that are usually caused by pressures and demands on my time and finances. I have had more than my share of suggestions as to how to handle stress, and none have worked for me.
As I said in my earlier entry, I intend to try meditation and/or self-hypnosis, but so far procrastination and motivation have not been adopted, so subsequently, I remain at the same old plateau.
Not being critical, but people who suggest portion control, limiting certain nutritional foods, exercising more, make it sound so simple, but if they love the foods and meals, and amounts, I enjoy, it is a mountain to climb and at 76 years old, my days of climbing are over.
