Gained a bit over the past 2 weeks, but only a little, and it it that TOM, so a little gain is to be expected. Weaning myself off Fatsecret a bit, not because I don't enjoy the support or supporting others, but I can't reasonably expect to log my foods forever. It's just too time consuming and too much mirco management of my eating choices. In the last two weeks I've made some good choices, and some not so good choices. Still got 10 pounds left to lose, but I'm fine if it's a slow loss. Just hoping to get through the holidays without gaining, and once they are done, if I'm not yet at my goal I will re-focus to get the last few pounds off. Still exercising, still enjoying that, so that will keep the weight from creeping on.

Got rid of the last bunch of "fat" clothes I had yesterday. Since my room is back together I had the chance to switch over my to my winter clothing, and I filled a large yard bag with clothing that is just too darn big. I was happy to donate all my fat clothes to the thrift store. Finally got to indulge myself in some pampering as well, took advantage of a 2 hour spa treatment my best friend gave me for my birthday. Nothing like being massaged and pampered for 2 hours.

Personally - I think that's a good plan for you. Exercising, and just hovering thru the next 6-7 weeks will give you a much needed respite from the day to day. then at the first of the year...you can kick back into full gear and get 'er done! Hope you enjoy your week!!! hey - how's that bed feeling??? :)))))

Having my bed back, is wonderful. The day we put it back up, within 30 minutes of putting all the sheets on it, I took a 2 hour nap.

Hi Icy, before you launch away from FS, I was wondering about something. You have been very successful with Atkins and you didn't seem to stall at all. What do you think was your 'key to success', or was it just that this program was well suited for your body type? Thanks....

F8thful, there were several stalls I had one that lasted 3 weeks. Basically I was too afraid to go up much on the carb ladder. Kept on induction for 4-5 months, then slowly added in higher carb foods, but would drop back down to induction every time I saw a slight gain. Exercise like crazy (between 5 and 10 times a week), weighed all foods and delayed dinners (i'm a night time snacker). Basically I'm really stubborn. Once I have a goal, I am too determined and stubborn to stop once plan is set in motion. The Key for me, was not giving up, even if I had slip ups, the next meal right back to low carb.
