OldBustedJorn's Journal, 16 September 2011

Sometimes it can boggle my mind... it seems that for nearly a whole week you consistently do around 80% of your RDI and also get some exercise (in my case, I ran 2x this week, 3 miles each time), yet have your weight not budge at all. When I look back and calculate my per week loss, it usually makes sense, but it doesn't make sense (to me) why it gets lost in bursts, even when eating/exercising consistently.

Yea it is strange. That is why consistency is so important in weight loss. What you do this week, may not show up till next week or later. You can under eat one week and see a gain and overeat another and see a big loss. Many things factor in to weight loss, not just what we are eating (but that is important). Plus, our water weight can shift so much at times that it makes us think we are having fat gains (when we aren't). So just stick with it and you will eventually see the benefits. Either on the scale or in how your clothes fit.
