So disappointed this week. i feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Fighting that little voice telling me to just give up. It's a lot of work to live low carb.
208.4 lb Lost so far: 23.6 lb.    Still to go: 43.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.1 lb a week

Sorry you're struggling, but don't give up and undo the excellent progress you've made! If you find low-carb hard to stick to, then you might want to experiment with other food plans that still allow you to lose weight . . . because key to weight loss is generating a calorie 'deficit' between intake and output. Or, look at the forums here -- I'm sure there's more than one for LCers -- they might offer some helpful tips or tweaks for sticking with that WOE.

Tell us your favorite foods and what you are using as substitutes, if they are not low carb. Lot of folks here would chime in with some good ideas I would bet. Don't give up.

Keep in mind that feelings come and go. This one really asks you to notice that while what you are doing is sometimes hard, it is worth your effort. Shout NO at the feeling of giving up and remember what determination feels like. Act on that feeling. You have it in you to succeed long term. Good luck
