Happy Thanksgiving FS Family! No matter if you celebrate this American Holiday or not, it's a good day to ponder gratitude. Be thankful for all of the blessings in your life. Start off with the basics, I was able to get out of bed this morning. I could see the scale that I stepped on and it was down 3.2 pounds. Coffee is good. There are so many more that I could list, but that is a place to start. I feel great, rested and very alive. I have everything I need right here, right now. God is good all the time. I hope and pray that every single one of you can find something in your life to be grateful for, we all have rough paths at one time or another in our lives. Things don't go as planned, the rug is yanked from underneath us and our worlds turned upside down. Each of us in our own way learn, adapt, survive the tumble and eventually come out on the other side. Older, wiser and battle scarred. There has to be one thing that your are grateful for....what is that one thing? Celebrate it, embrace it, be joyful in it. May the day bring you blessings, peace and the greatest of all...Love!

Thanks Honeebuns and right back atcha, I'm going to over indulge today, just for today and I think that I will add another fasting day. Due to my work schedule on Friday, it will be about 12 hours total...I think I am going to skip foods for that day, going to start too early, get home too late and no time in between for eating healthy, so I'd be better off to add a fasting day and post holiday feasting lashbacks...probably won't bother me at all!

happy Thanksgiving to you and I am grateful to be alive and have a good hubby and life together and I am happy you have changed colors I'm ready for mine to change again but I will wait until it does.congrats on your drop. ugh this pie for Thanksgiving dinner is only thing that I am having a problem turning down 👇 even a small piece is so much calories.

Thank you Sara! My plan for today is to frontload the protein, then have small amounts of EVERYTHING else. I'm hoping that stomach shrinkage from the fast will help me to feeling full and the other foods will be for taste enjoyment only and I won't go overboard with the rest of the fixin's. Another 24 hour fast planned for Friday simply because of time restraints due to working. We are already seeing package spikes from Pre-Black Friday deals online, so it's all hands on deck to cope with the Friday's two days worth of mail and packages in one day ordeal.

LOLOL Thanks Zen! Diana!AzureRaven! Morticia! MC! Good to see all of you and thank you for your support. I am stuffed so full right this minute and my arms are tired from tossing those Korn Hole bags! We lost again....I am a terrible shot, I can only hit that hole 1 out of 5 times, but it's fun trying. We had perfect weather, coolish and sunny! I ate too much, there was so much food, so many choices. Baked ham, Roasted Turkey were what I started with. I stayed away from the Buttered yeast rolls, but I had half a cup of the stuffing with giblet gravy and a slice of Jellied cranberry sauce, 1/2 cup of the sweet Potato casserole (OMG!! So good) Green bean casserole, crab cakes, deviled eggs, Oreo pudding pie, pecan pie....I had small slices because that is how they served them, buncha kids around so dessert portions were child sized which is good, Red Velvet sheet cake cut into 2x2 inch squares. I had two bites of the apple cobbler....then I could hold NO MORE! We went outside and played a few games and then us older adults took a walk around the pond. Then we filled up to-go trays of leftovers and came home and went for a walk with the dogs. I'm going to try to log all of this, but it may not all be available and I'm not going to try to break it down into recipes to add it, if I can find a similar supermarket equivalent I'll use that. But I know this, my protein is over, my carbs are way over and I'm certain my fats will be too, but I had a wonderful time and a two year old toddled over and crammed a chocolate chip cookie in my mouth and you just can't say NO to that, I'm not even going to count it 🤣

LOLOL Good grief! I did my best to log it all, except for the cookie.....we are going to call today Carb-cycling, I'm told it's a thing, because WOW! No wonder all I want to do is take a nap!

Yayyy, a free cookie!!! 😆 No worries, Deb, I put my carbs through the cycle twice today! 🤣 Turkey, homemade chicken n pantry, homemade dressing, cranberry sauce, baked mac n cheese, and homemade pineapple pudding. All x 2! Tomorrow is a definite go hard gym day.

A precious friend from my Buy Nothing group brought me dinner....enough for 3 dinners! LOL I have awesome re-runs to play with. I love your post Debra and my joy is sparked in this new day. Be blessed!

Yes Debra I know a few ppl who don't do keto but they do a version of it and try to stick to less than 50carbs a day one has had weight loss surgery and was 543lbs before and she had the sleeve which doctor said would help her loose about 100lbs and because she does that plus exercise and uses sprays that you spray in your mouth to help curb your appetite also,and some kind of pink drink,and coffee she swears helps her anyway she's lost 305lbs and has a big following of ppl.on fb,tiktok,Instagram and Twitter. She does the carb recycling thing and some of the ppl who follow her do it.shes even going around the us now telling her testimony and then wrote a book about weight loss and she sent me one for free its on Amazon called Whitney wheeler , walking out of my coffin.Anyway congrats on having a time.I eat lower carbs than what I used to and have had success with doing it so I just continue to follow it,but I am trying to stick to around 100carbs now lowering it from about the 150 I normally eat .but I used to eat over 300-400 from the 3-4 Mt dew a day and the food.
