Good Morning FS Warriors!!! Tickled with a 6.5 pound drop!! I had a slight change of plans, I planned to end my fast on Saturday, but hubby has purchased a 14x40 building that he is planning to put in our smallest pasture. After the aggravation of moving all of his big saws from a job site, he decided to put in a shop for the big saws and build his cabinets in a clean and dry environment then transport them to the job to install. Said it would save him setup and shutdown time on a daily basis and no worries about the tools and supplies getting wet. So I went out and helped him take down the fence...Saturday was the only day we were going to have decent weather for working outside. The ready made orthotics are doing a decent job of keeping the pain down, but I stopped frequently to let my foot rest. We were outside all day and tired when we came in at dark, he had a ham sandwich and I just continued my fast till this morning. So, 6.5 pounds for a 134 hour fast, not bad. I seem to have a bit of a sunburn today, had no idea that a sunny winter day would do that. Raining today so we are going to take it easy and chill for the day. Building delivery is Tuesday. It's kind of exciting watching his little handyman business take off the way it has. He specializes in mobile homes and there are many in a run down condition around here....new mobile homes have moved into the over 100,000.00 range, so there are several folks who have the money for a remodel of their current home as opposed to buying a new one. The one he just finished was a total cost of 55,000.00 bucks and the owners are very happy with it. The cost covered labor, materials and new appliances and since they were living in it while the work was being done, the job took around two months. It looks like a brand spanking new home! So, I am being as supportive as I can....he has 4 more similar jobs lined up and his phone is still ringing, he's told the folks calling that he is booked for a year now and most of them are willing to wait...I am amazed! I knew he had skills, but even I was impressed with what he did. So it's been a busy and successful week for both of us. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next!

Good morning FS Warriors!! I'm not doing a weigh in today because I am continuing my fast till Saturday, other than my foot, I am feeling pretty good. Had to go to the Dr this morning to get it seen about, the swelling was gone and the ankle felt pretty good, but my heel felt like it was on fire. Apparently I now have a case of plantar fasciitis. They measured me for a set of custom orthotics, sold me a set of premade arch supports, some tape for taping it up tight and some crazy looking splint to wear at night. So I have to do a couple of PT visits and use a foam roller to massage the bottom of my foot a couple of times a day and I'm supposed to stay off it as much as possible. They wanted to do a boot.....I just can't wear that while working so I am taking the slower healing alternative 😥 at least nothing is broken. Soooooo, since I'm not going to be doing a whole lot of moving, a 5 day fast seemed to be in order since I feel good enough to continue! You guys have a great day!!!

Good Morning FS warriors!!! I hope everyone is fighting the good fight! my loss seems to have slowed a bit....but I passed another 10's Woooohoooooo!!! Any loss is a good loss! Last week during my eating days I tried for some pasta dishes made with lentil, pea and cauliflower flours, it was lower carb, but still higher than actually eating whole cauliflower. The taste was fine, but I hated the texture....still did not stop me eating it with the organic alfredo sauce! LOL! I hate wasting food, even if it increases my waist 🙄. I have been nursing a twisted ankle from helping my hubby break down and load his tools from a job-site where they have been set up for about 3 months now. We were loading the big saws and I stepped in a hole and went to my knees, not serious....but swollen and tender. Lots of ice and sitting with it elevated. I can walk on it...but it complains! I had been training another clerk at the PO so they have left her with me for a few more days, she is doing most of the mail distribution while I am parked at the counter on a stool. Not typical for them to do that, but she can't actually start at her assigned PO till after she completes SSA training in Savannah and her class starts Monday. Hopefully I will be more mobile by then. Poor Hubs had to hire someone to help him get his equipment moved since his free helper is on the sidelines! He does not like to lift and move heavy things with a stranger, they can't read his mind like I can. He needs to work on his verbal communication skills!!!! They don't know that a grunt means speed up or a growl means slow down!! So my movement has been reduced this week but I'm still going down...it's all good! I'm going to hobble to the kitchen and start my break-fast. Ya'll have a great day!
