Up at 6 on a Saturday to meet up at the San Diego Zoo at 7 for early opening. Attended a keeper’s talk on the elephants and wow, has the approach to housing them changed even over the past 5 years. Elephants cool, leopard twins were out and wild, they’re about 3 months old and adorable, serval was cool but very camera shy. Came home and ate breakfast, back to our regularly scheduled programming. I love morning zoo and nighttime zoo because it is so different. The elephants were all busy feeding, so no good pics, but it was fun watching one try and sneak a snack from the keeper.

Yard work and a swim today, may try get in a hike so the dogs learn how to behave on the trail rather than pulling me into the brush. All the numbers below are good. Blob way down finally, muscle up, water is decent. Tomorrow we figure out how i want to transform my Halloween lights to Christmas, but not too soon. Fun stuff! Also need to rationalize storage vs. buying a shed for the backyard. Math works given the crazy price of storage units these days.

Haven't been to the zoo all summer, time to go. As for storage, I have no need, I just keep getting rid of STUFF. (And I still have too much)

I just rented storage in the UK, Katsolo. I took 75 sq ft for a year which works out at £40 a week. It was more expensive than I thought it would be but I need somewhere dry and mouse free for the stuff I'm storing. But like Shirfleur I am getting rid of stuff too.

Mine is mostly work stuff, TJV1959. Stuff for my customers and all that paperwork we are obliged to keep for 7 years. So it's tax deductible which brings the cost down a bit.

My need might be for a 12’ skeleton and his accompanying spooky paraphernalia. The box has been living in my front room, and while it’s big, it’s not worth paying $50-$100 a month to store. I just don’t have room for something that big.
