Happy Sunday morning, out with the birds this morning. Long walk last night, worked on clearing stuff out of unused dresser drawers yesterday. The good news is that most of the shorts I tried on fit, with a few being too big. Those are leaving the house. Our warm weather has definitely taken its time getting here, but I’m not complaining either.

Funny moment from the walk. Ran into two young women, they fawned over the dogs and one said she was a trainer, so we chatted a minute and then moved to go on our respective ways. She told me they were in a hurry at that point and needed to go ahead of us on the sidewalk. Fine. Except that they were S-L-O-W compared to shepherd speed. We crossed the street and went on our way. Ditched them after the first block. No hate, i just thought it was funny. We don’t break any records, but we go at a decent pace.

Playing with macros a bit, as I’m coming out of the fog of grief, I’m eating again and i need to put the focus back on protein. Easy swap, shooting for 100g per day. Ahi tuna for dinner tonight. Would it be terribly rude to suggest to my friend that he needs to go fishing again because I’m almost out??? 🙄 Don’t worry, i would never. Would get me kicked off the list, i suspect, but mostly because it would be rude. See? I do have some manners even though i run with dogs.

You don’t realize how heavy the air is until you see the light making its way through the haze. This is a shot of the Balboa Park tower and you can see some of the moisture in the air. It reminds me of India. I should have zoomed in more, apologies there. It is centered, at least. Thank goodness for that marine layer.
