Nothing to sneeze at this morning. Blob is back down and that’s what i really care about. Already had an hour call for work, at least it was early and hasn’t spoiled my day. Muscle holding up, it’s probably more from hauling tree trunks around than the increased walks around the neighborhood. The big winner is my mental state. I love walking to decompress. BF went back home Wednesday morning, i was in a sulk. Was going to do a short walk, but once i get out there, i feel so much better every single time.

This is Lili, short for Odile. She is a White German Shepherd Dog and she is a marshmallow vampire. A ferocious ball of white fluff with sharp teeth. Chance picked her out himself and he is completely smitten with her. We separated them at the vet and he was howling for her. No noise when i leave. Guess we’re keeping her. Honestly, it’s working out better than i ever could have imagined. And no, i never ever thought I’d get a white dog. That is going to be interesting. She is wicked smart at eight months and boundless energy. She can easily walk 3 miles with just a little rest at the park. Really great with people and kids and no bad dog interactions at this point. We only spent one day with the split lead and she figured out where she belongs in walking formation. We are working on recall with both dogs, i did end up getting a long lead so we could learn without drama.
