I have really noticed a difference with bloating, gas and constipation while I have been recording what I am eating. I am eating a lot slower and realize that I am an emotional eater and that I don't eat very much while I am at home. This may be due to laziness so I stock my fridge with healthy choices so I don't go crazy and binge on junk food and soda. I am monitoring my caloric intake closely and sticking to my workouts.

I even discovered that reading "Life & Style" magazine while doing my cardio has made it more fun and easier to perform for longer periods. I don't like the work out challenges that I have been doing. I think I could do more using the nautilus machines and resistance training.

Final note- losing just a few pounds is motivating me to continue along watching what I eat. And since I am all for science - it takes 3500 calories to burn one pound of fat. So my goal of course is a 500 calorie deficit each day and not to waste calories on junk.:_)
146.6 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
