Trying to get back on track. Lots of stress right now, mom is in the hospital.
317.2 lb Lost so far: 78.8 lb.    Still to go: 117.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

praying for your mom & family. Focus on your mom and family. Worry about food and getting back on track later. Trust me, I have been there. Others may not think it is the best advice. Focus on 1 thing at a time, which will help reduce your stress level.

I’m dealing with similar issues but my reply is a little different. If I don’t do the best I can to stay as healthy as possible, I cannot help anyone if I become sick as well. And, I wouldn’t have anyone to take care of me. Protect my own health as much as possible and then others. Oxygen mask goes on yourself first, just like the airlines teaches us.

sending good vibes and healing thoughts to you and your family. mental stress translates to physical stress on the body. go easy on yourself for a while and focus on your mental health. you will get back on track but be forgiving to your mind and body in the meantime.

Thanks everyone...she's 87 years old and has an intestinal blockage. Because of her age, they can't operate, so they are trying to get it to clear using medical treatment.

It’s difficult when you have no control over your mom’s situation and have to watch as others try to assist her while you feel helpless. But, remember that what you DO have control of are the choices that you make for your own health. Stress eating will only lead to more stress which you don’t need. Especially now, stay strong.
