Matt nothing wrong with a bit of Muffin? As Sid James said in Carry Up The Kyber.

Thanks Morticia, I know we’re from the same ‘genus’ because we think alike 😄

What is dry fasting?
01 Apr 23 by member: Katsolo
Hi Katsolo ~ Dry fasting is to refrain taking any food and any liquid for a specified duration. In my case I go for 13-14 hours. It has worked miraculously for me. Can't speak for others. I no longer have ..... fat cheeks and chin & loving it🤸‍♂️🎵🎶

Hi Cheesegobbler84, I did LOMAN (Light One meal A Night) after dry fasting for 13 hours in the last 9 days. LOMAN is my version of OMAD 😅 standard IF (intermittent fasting) for one meal a day. I'm a bit exhausted tho' but I luv it once I get used to it !

No water for 13-14 hours, intentionally? Dehydration for the sake of chin & cheekbone definition sounds like a recipe for headaches & wrinkle definition. Why not just cut calories and/or increase your bike ride/walking time?

JB, I took a hiatus for several months on competitive cycling and scratch golfing to fix my old house. So many things to repair - seems endless chores 😁. My fasting regimen obviously is not for everbody. Been doing this for 40+ years to keep me lean & ultra light like those Tour de France guys ‘flying’ up the hills & mountains. Once I’m done fixin’ where I live, I will go to places to where I wish to live (oversea bike tour may be) .. Enjoy your weekend 🍰

you are brave! that sounds like you got it figured out! my dad, 56yr, lives in VA and he rides his bike to/from work and struggles with that last lil bit on muffin top. any tips i could pass along to him? he does a OMAD, mostly carnivore. he lost 60 lbs from switching from car insurance to bike repairs lol.

Hi Dazey, Seems like he’s already a success story! Lost 60 lbs, saved a bunch of money on insurance, OMAD & I bet he’s much happier! Muffin top is one of the hardest spots to trim & I’m struggling myself ~ what I can offer humbly is to go ez on carnivore 😁

Dazey, I thought of something on tips to flatten the muffin tops: What have been working for me are to first lose the overall body fat, shoot first for 15% body fat & gradually aim for 13%, 11% and below (hard to do). These goals are achievable but needless to say challenging. Do a consistent HIIT (high intensity interval training) at least three times a week during 75 miles weekly bike rides (I used to ride 200+ miles each week🚴🏽‍♂️ It needs a minimum 3 months to see any visible results 🚴🏽‍♂️ All the best to your Dad & enjoy your weekend 👍✅🍰

Doesn’t sound like there’s much difference difference between "dry heaving“ and "dry fasting“. 🤔 Except that one is voluntary? Just teasin‘ of course.
