I'm not sure why I gained. I'm doubling up on the excercise, I was doing an hour or an hour and a half three times a week. Now I'm doing at least two hours every day. Maybe too much salt? Who knows. All I know is that I'm happy, doing the right things and it'll show progress some day.

18 days to my 34th birthday 🎂 ❤️

Happy March everyone, have a fantastic month!!!

Eat mindfully, keep up your protein and fiber with that much movement and you’ll be smaller on your birthday. Take measurements instead of depending on the scale. Happy Birthday in advance!

You'll probably drop the weight quickly if you're doing everything right. That happens to me all the time.

Tom is right. I'm up in weight but lower in measurements.

It’s possible that you’re gaining muscle not just burning fat, the best thing for you is to work cardio not muscle groups, also it might be important to look at your calorie intake; if you’re not eating enough to fuel your body then your body may want to hold on to the weight I hope it’s neither of these and that you see the drop you want but these are just some thoughts.

could be water weight

Hang in there. Muscles also hold on to water as it repairs itself. If your clothes fit better and you feel better, you're on track!

Happy Birthday in 18 DAYS!! Also, That usually happens when you increase your exercise, you tend to hang onto/and or gain weight... then before you know it... you are dropping weight faster than if you had NOT increased your exercise. I don't know the scientific reasoning behind this - maybe what @Oliverz1 said - I just know it happened to me more than once so it's a thing!

It’s absolutely muscle weight gain! Muscle weighs twice as much as fat! It happens to everyone that does extended workouts.

Thank you, mmstraus! I'm working an hour of cardio and an hour of weights. The weights are only 4 times a week though.

Thank you, TMT. I can actually feel the muscle building up. I've found muscles I didn't even know existed 🤣

Working muscles often hold water when in the recovery stage...if you are exercising more, it could be water
