Started walking instead of eating sweets. Working on creating a new habit to move instead of giving in to sugar. Plus working with a personal trainer to strengthen my weak muscles in my left leg to avoid knee replacement surgery.
241.7 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 16.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Any time you can rectify a medical issue with lifestyle change, I'm cheering for you. So few people are willing to do that. I was 180 when my knee started buckling on stairs and decided that nonsense had to stop. Had no problems after the first 30 pounds I took off. Just don't get too disappointed or beat yourself up if you still end up needing the surgery, ok?

Sounds like you've got things under control. Best wishes on your knee. I've lost 45 pounds, and mine still bothers me, especially on stairs.
