DISCLAIMER: This is prob not my real weight!

WARNING: TMI below!

On Friday i weighed 150.0 and i knew that wasn't right either. I think I did nothing but poop all day Saturday. I started my period on Sunday (which always makes my fluctuate higher and lower) and then i started my diuretic sunday night. So really, i have no idea what i actually weigh.

The contest ends tomorrow, hence the diuretic. I would normally consider that a bit of cheating, but I have so many problems with edema AND the main competition was bragging that she had some diuretics and could drop 13lbs overnight. That and she ate a big meal before weigh-in and i was fasting, so she already slanted things in her favor.

Anyway, I'm glad it will be over. In a way I think it has possibly been more harmful than helpful. I'm not really sure how to explain it.

I'll update Thursday morning.

I have taken laxatives before. You usually only lose 1-5 lbs. I am not sure on the diaretic, but be very careful on the water loss. You can get really dehydrated, also if you take the laxative to many days before weigh in you end up reverse and your body holds in more waste as it builds back up. Either way you are going to be out of wack for several days as your system recovers fluids and waste. Be careful and Good luck on the weigh in.

I should have been more clear. I did NOT take a laxative. I go to work across the state for the weekend, and I've noticed a pattern. I think the change in water sometimes has that effect on me. Yesterday when I mentioned to my boss that the weigh-in was today, he said that maybe we should extend the diet. I said I didn't want to, that I can't lose that much more. We'll see what happens today. I'm not scheduled to work, but I'm going cuz of the weigh-in. If he post-pones it I will be LIVID! I'll let you know. ;-)
